KEVIN McGHEE DO LicAC MBAcC

Kevin worked for nine years as a research assistant at the Institute for Cancer Research at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London before suffering a prolapsed intervertebral disc in his spine. He was so impressed with the results of osteopathic treatment that he changed his career and qualified as an Osteopath in 1989. He trained for four years at the British School of Osteopathy and then completed a three-year course at the British College of Acupuncture in 1993.
Kevin has always been based in Broughty Ferry and after working as an Associate for five years set up his own practice in 1995. He now has a purpose built clinic next to his home, and prides himself on having a relaxed, friendly informative manner with patients and consequently tries to spend between 30-60 minutes with each person. Kevin uses a mixture of Osteopathy and Acupuncture, Having worked in one area for so many years he and the practice have a good reputation and he is known by many of the local doctors and consultants.
Kevin is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and Scottish Osteopathic Society.
NATASHA PEACHEY BSc (Hons) Ost LSSM Dip
Registered with the General Osteopathic Council
Natasha has been working since 1994 firstly as a Sports Massage Therapist and now as an Osteopath
after qualifying from the
British School of Osteopathy
in London. She has run her own successful clinic just out side London, gained experience in other
practices and now works in Edinburgh, Dundee and Melrose. She uses both musculoskeletal (general) and
cranial osteopathy, is trained in the use of ultrasound and modern acupuncture and has acknowledged expertise in the full
range of general complaints with particular specialism in sports injuries.
She lectures in anatomy at the Edinburgh branch of the
Scottish Massage Schools, and as well as being registered with the
General Osteopathic Council
she is also a member of the British Osteopathic Association,
Sutherland Cranial College Pathway Programme,
Sutherland Cranial Society
and the Scottish Osteopathic Society.
GILLIAN McINTOSH BSc Ost
Registered with the General Osteopathic Council
Qualified as an osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy
in 1994 she then moved to Glasgow, where she was the principal osteopath of the Glasgow Osteopathic Centre,
till 2007 when she moved back to her family roots in Fife to bring her son up and joined the team at the Appletree Clinic.
As an osteopath she incorporates both traditional osteopathic and cranio-sacral techniques.
Her specialized interests are in chronic pain management and the treatment of pregnant women
and the follow up of mother and baby.
In her personal time she has returned to university to study counselling and enjoys outdoor sports
running, hill walking and cycling.
OFFICE PERSONNEL
OUR RECEPTIONISTS provide a cheerful welcome to the practice and will be your first point of contact. Both are very experienced, have worked in the NHS and keep the practice (and practitioners!) in order. They are here to help so please ask if you have any queries.
